A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

Your Counsellor Hazel Smith

I am a qualified Person-centred Counsellor with over 5 years’ experience in the third sector/charitable organisations working with common mental health issues/community counselling and bereavement support. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and adhere to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions to ensure I work safely and ethically with clients. I attend regular monthly supervision to ensure good working practice. I am committed to anti- discriminatory practice and continually update my knowledge and skills through supervision, professional development and training. Although, I work primarily from a person-centred orientation I can incorporate other models that suit the needs of the client.
